Car App Features
This page lists what the Car App can do and what each feature costs. For installation and first run, see Getting Started with the Car App. For how tiers, the trial and the offline grace window work, see License Overview.
Three tiers appear below:
- Free — no licence at all. Still a complete in-car app.
- Web — adds Home Assistant, Telegram and the extra display surfaces.
- App — everything in Web, plus the Companion App.
The fourth tier, Ad-free, is not in the table because it unlocks nothing: it is Free with the support message removed, bought once and permanent. See License Overview.
Included in every tier, including Free
Section titled “Included in every tier, including Free”None of the following needs a licence. If you never subscribe, all of it keeps working — indefinitely, and with no internet connection required.
Live dashboard
Section titled “Live dashboard”Real-time vehicle data on the head unit: battery state of charge, range, current power, odometer, speed, battery and motor temperatures, doors, locks, windows, trunk, TPMS, seat and steering-wheel heating.
Where your car does not report a value, the Car App shows it as unavailable rather than inventing a number. Which values exist depends on your model and DiLink firmware version.
The dashboard also shows calculated values — projected range from charge level, battery capacity and past efficiency, plus range for the current trip. These get more accurate after a few complete charge cycles.
Climate and access controls
Section titled “Climate and access controls”Local control of climate, heating, ventilation, windows, sunroof, sunshade, locks and trunk, for the actions your vehicle firmware supports.
Battery detail
Section titled “Battery detail”A high-voltage battery check: state of health, voltage, current, power, minimum and maximum battery temperature, weakest and strongest cell voltage, and the difference between them. The cell-voltage spread is what surfaces a possible imbalance.
Trips, cycles and charging history
Section titled “Trips, cycles and charging history”Distance, energy used, average speed, drive time and efficiency in kWh/100 km — for the current trip, the current cycle between charges, and local all-time totals. Charging history records completed sessions, added energy, charge change and duration.
Voice control
Section titled “Voice control”A voice assistant for Ukrainian and English. Recognition runs on the head unit — no API keys, and your voice audio is never sent to a server.
Voice commands can start navigation or music and control climate, heating, seat ventilation, windows, sunroof, sunshade, locks and trunk. You can switch between a wake phrase and push-to-talk, pick which navigation app to use, and turn off individual commands.
Automations and quick actions
Section titled “Automations and quick actions”Rules that run an action when the car enters a chosen state and a condition holds — for example, steering-wheel heating in cold weather, or opening the sunshade after start-up. Some actions support an auto-revert timer, so climate or heating switches itself off after a set time. Which events can start a rule is covered in Automation triggers.
The floating quick-action button puts common commands on top of other head-unit apps. With push-to-talk enabled, a short tap starts a voice command and a long press opens the panel.
Cameras and Sentry
Section titled “Cameras and Sentry”Live camera view, photos and video recording, plus Sentry guard mode, all from the head unit.
Diagnostics
Section titled “Diagnostics”Connection status, logs and a diagnostic bundle you can send with a support request.
Web and App tiers
Section titled “Web and App tiers”Both paid tiers unlock everything in this section.
Home Assistant
Section titled “Home Assistant”Live vehicle data flows to Home Assistant through the HACS integration, creating sensors and a device tracker. See the Home Assistant setup guide.
Telegram notifications
Section titled “Telegram notifications”Charging events, charge-gun events, trip summaries and other notifications sent to Telegram.
Cluster Mirror
Section titled “Cluster Mirror”The driver’s instrument display, shown live on the centre screen and controllable from there. A Cluster tab appears in the navigation bar while something is being projected.
Blind Spot
Section titled “Blind Spot”The side camera shown on the instrument cluster while a turn signal is on.
Info Widget
Section titled “Info Widget”A floating, draggable data card over the main head-unit screen, so chosen values stay visible while you use other apps.
Trip Meters
Section titled “Trip Meters”An extra Trip Meters tab on the dashboard. On the Free tier this tab is hidden entirely.
Keep-alive
Section titled “Keep-alive”Connectivity options that keep the head unit reachable for longer after the car is switched off.
App tier only
Section titled “App tier only”Companion App
Section titled “Companion App”The phone app, on Android and iOS — remote monitoring, remote commands, phone key, alarm, location, camera and Sentry clips. The whole Companion App requires the App tier; the Web tier does not include it. Up to two phones can be paired to one car.

Custom Dashboard In development
Section titled “Custom Dashboard ”A build-your-own gauge screen. Place, size and configure tiles bound to live vehicle values, then show the result on the instrument cluster. Will include the layout editor and the “Show on Cluster” option.

What needs a T-Box
Section titled “What needs a T-Box”The T-Box is optional hardware. Everything on this page works without one. Three capabilities need it, and all three are Companion App features:
- Phone key — automatic lock and unlock as you approach or leave
- Alarm — motion detection, breach alerts and panic
- Vehicle location while the car is switched off
